Whether you are new to the Youth Jazz program, a seasoned veteran, or have only been a part of our online rehearsals, we invite you to join us on August 5th for a full rundown of what to expect as we return to in-person music making this fall.

In this information session, you will learn about our big bands and combos, our renowned teaching faculty, and special opportunities available to our Youth Jazz students, including free Columbus Jazz Orchestra tickets, masterclasses, guest artists interviews and more. . We will leave plenty of time to answer any questions, and we invite both students and parents to participate.

To celebrate our return to in-person music making, we will also be hosting a masterclass and performance by special guests, the Huntertones! From improvisation to practice tips and more, this session will get you excited for the upcoming year of playing jazz together. You’ll get to learn even more from the Huntertones this year as they work with some of our Youth Jazz students during the 2021-22 season.
